We have been spending a lot of time at our neighborhood pool lately since Mike is training for the upcoming Nation’s Triathlon. In addition, Kaitlyn will be starting swim lessons next week so we thought it best to get her in the pool as much as possible before her classes start! Since I am pregnant and don’t want to subject poolgoers to my ever growing belly, Mike has been spending a lot of time in the pool with Katie:) Our little girl has always loved the pool, but this year she seemed more interested in the baby pool than in the big kids pool. Our little girl quickly grew out of that though, and has been swimming a ton in the big girl pool in the last week. She’s even started dunking her head in the water! Can’t wait to see how she does with swim lessons! Until those begin, here are some pictures of our little swimmer in the pool this summer:)
She kept these floaties on for about 30 seconds:)

P.S. Mike, Katie and I head to the doctor next week to find out the gender of Baby #2. So stay tuned and we will have the big reveal as well as some more pictures of Baby Torrey next week!
Katie wanted me to write on our blog today and wish her Grandpa Bill, aka Boom Boom, a very HAPPY BIRTHDAY! We love you Bill, so glad we got to celebrate with you!!!
Not sure where the time has gone, but somehow it’s been 10 years since I graduated from college. Seems like yesterday actually. I can remember being scared out of my wits for what lay ahead of me (lots more school and an actual career!) and I wondered how my life would be leaving the place that I had called home for four years. Well here we are, 10 years later. I’m married to a wonderful man, I have an amazing little girl and another baby on the way. My degree from Villanova hangs proudly on my wall, along with two graduate degrees that cost my parents waaaaayyy too much money. I have some guilt about that, being that I’m now a stay at home Mom. But honestly I wouldn’t have it any other way My degrees will continue to hang on the wall in the office as a reminder of what I have accomplished, as well as for the future intimidation of our children:) No pressure of course:)
In order to celebrate this milestone, Mike, Katie and I headed up to Villanova this past weekend to celebrate my 10 year reunion. We met up with some of my dear college friends, ate some good food and reminisced about old times. As Katie ran around the campus I couldn’t help but think that her college adventure will begin just 16 short years from now. It’s just crazy how fast time really does fly. We all had a fabulous time and I feel so lucky to have spent four years at such an amazing place. Here are some pictures of our fun weekend at Villanova!

Our little girl is officially 2! So crazy, I can hardly believe it! In order to celebrate her 2nd birthday properly we had the entire family and a few friends out on Sunday, plus we had an abundance of Mickey Mouse decorations:) Katie had a fabulous time, eating and playing, playing and eating. The day kind of rushed by in a blur for me, sort of like the last two years have! Our big girl really seemed to enjoy the day, especially because everywhere she turned there was candy and chocolate:) And of course having almost all her favorite people here to celebrate helped too:) Here are some pictures of Katie’s fabulous 2nd birthday party!

Thanks so much to everyone who helped make the day so special! I don’t think we could have pulled it all together without the help of our awesome family, in particular the fabulous burger makers, Billy and Bethy! Katie had such a wonderful, hot dog day! We can’t wait to see what this next year has in store for her!
As most of you know, our sister-in-law Bethany is 7 months pregnant! So what better time to throw her a baby shower! Last weekend friends and family gathered to celebrate Bethany and Baby Girl Torrey! We had a fabulous time, and I can’t thank my three co-hostesses Dana, Lee-Ann and Liz enough, as well as our friends and family that pitched in to help pull everything together (thanks s much Cerissa, Leslie, Mike and Bill). We are so excited for Bethany and Bill and we can’t wait for our little niece to arrive:) Here are some cute pictures from Bethany’s Baby Shower!

Happy Mother’s Day to all you mothers and mothers to be out there!!! Today is such a wonderful day and I hope you get to celebrate it with your family. We are so excited to spend the day with my mom Mary Pat! We are also excited because in a few short days we get to see Mike’s mom Kathy!
But I think I am most excited because I’m such a blessed mom myself! My little girl and wonderful husband are making me breakfast as we speak, and Mike taught Katie how to say Happy Mommy’s Day:) So I’ve had a pretty fabulous start to my day. I’m also feeling extremely blessed today because of our little one that’s on the way! Yup, I’m going to be a Mommy to Baby #2 in just six (very long) months:) We are so excited to have another baby, and so excited to finally share the news with our family and friends! Without further adieu, here’s the first picture of Baby “Small” Torrey!
